Compostable bioiodegradable plastics (compostable bioplastics) are produced from renewable raw resources such as starch. Compostable bioplastics are capable of undergoing biological decomposition and returning back to the environment as carbon dioxide, water, and biomass. They look and feel like the traditional petroleum-based plastics. Due to its unique characteristics and ability to quickly decompose naturally in the environment, it has become remarkably popular and a growing force behind the new trend of a “World for Green”. As more and more people become educated about the benefits of using compostable bioplastics, we are seeing a reduction in the use of the traditional petroleum-based plastic products. It is now part of our everyday life.
